Day 9 of our pilgrimage was 30.7km or 19 mi from Logrono to Najera, one of the longest days of this trip. After 29 km and an 8pm arrival on Monday, it was a real challenge. Now we move into some shorter days that will offer a little more time for introspection, a more leisurely pace during the day,
Tuesday did offer several memories from our first Camino in 2013, including the magnificent parish Church of the Assumption and one of Patricia's favorite statues in Navarette, and the poignant German poem on the wall outside of Najera. All in all, a very good day.
