Tuesday 30 Apr was the 5th straight day of cloud and cold. We did 22.9km from Santo Domingo de Calzada to Belorado, over the border fro Rioja into Castille. In Belorado we wound up in a truckers hotel with a manager who reminded us of the motel manager in Psycho - just handed us a key - no name, passport, nothing. The room had a real double bed AND a bathtub! Bliss!! 8am Wed 1 May as I write this and there is blue sky... Has the sun returned????
Wow, it reminds me of being on a long field problem except with your best friend! Plus you get to shower once in a while. We did the Nijmegen march in Holland one year and we counted dogs and did trivial pursuit cards. Jeannene and I have this lovely Chaplet of the Divine Mercy we keep on our MP3 players that is good for a commute and even NON Singers would feel comfortable singing along. I will find the link so you can pull it down. We are so proud of you! We will pray for perfect weather and wonderful accommodations.
ReplyDeleteHere is the link to the song to download for Free, you will know the words:
