At the March for Life

Went to the March for Life Friday just before the snowstorm hit.  Heartening to see thousands attend in spite of the weather which turned many out of towers back or forced their transport to cancel.

Green Valley Life

That's sunset yesterday from the hot tub.  Cold here again - 30s and 40s - but does not keep us off the hiking trail. We take towels and swimsuits then go straight from the trail to the hot tub. Bliss for aching muscles and feet after 6+ miles up and down a rocky trail!!  We are finding it really makes a difference the next day.  

Here is a view of the big valley from "up" in the Coronado National Forest where we walk.  Passed a bow hunter during our hike going after one of the many white trailed deer we see on hikes... He said there had been mountain lion sighted recently too.

On the trail in the Catalinas

Starting to train for the Camino. Here in Green Valley, there is snow in Madeira Canyon, but still good training hikes on the lower elevations. Feels good to be back out with the boots and poles!
